OTTER runs on a removable lithium battery that you charge at any regular outlet.
Each unit comes with an overnight charger; a fast charger or spare battery is optional for busy summer days.
The battery also acts as a key. Without it the system can’t be operated, adding safety against misuse.

What maintenance is required?

Almost none.
During the season you check the air in the hulls once per week and keep batteries charged.
At season’s end, a short clean and one-hour disassembly is enough.
In spring, you simply reassemble and go.

Can it stay in the water? How do I store it in winter?

Yes. Most hotels leave OTTER in the water during the season. It’s built for continuous in-water storage. With the built-in launching wheels, slipping is also easy.
For winter, it packs compactly into a small space indoors.
