When the steering lever is pushed beyond the normal steering range, you feel a subtle haptic feedback.
This activates TOD mode:

One motor drives forward, the other in reverse allowing the OTTER to rotate smoothly on the spot.

Double-layer main skin
Contrary to other waterbikes, OTTER uses a double-layer PVC skin for longer term durability and impact resistance.

Additional protection and reinforcement measures:
  • All-around rubber protection (underside, rails and bow) against abrasion, beaching and dock contact
  • Reinforced load & attachment points. Heavy-duty D-rings designed for secure mooring

Frame:
Anodized and powder-coated aluminum frame with marine-grade stainless steel components

Dual-layer corrosion protection
Anodized aluminum with an additional powder coat creates a durable barrier against saltwater, abrasion and long-term exposure.

Additional corrosion-control measures include:
  • Marine-grade 316 stainless steel fasteners
  • Galvanic corrosion design best practices​
  • Sacrificial anodes (4 pieces total)

Fabrics: 

Marine-grade fabrics and stitching selected for UV resistance, fast drying and durability
